Biz bu çalışmada, cerrahi yapılmış olan LSS olguları ile, dar kanal bulguları olmayan olguları karşılaştırarak; hiperlipideminin spinal stenosis etyolojisindeki rolünü değerlendirmeyi hedefledik Is there a Relationship between Blood Lipid Profile and Lumbar Spinal Stenosis?Ezgi Akar, Mustafa EfendioğluDepartment of Neurosurgery, University of Health Sciences Hamidiye Faculty of Medicine, Haydarpasa Numune Health Application and Research Center, Istanbul, TurkeyINTRODUCTION: The etiology of lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) is still unknown, but it is a multifactorial disease. Reduced blood flow due to atherosclerosis is thought to accelerate spinal degenerative changes, but it is not known whether there is a relationship between blood lipid profile and the development of spinal stenosis. In this study, we compared the LSS patients who underwent surgery and the patients without narrow canal findings., We aimed to evaluate the role of hyperlipidemia in the etiology of spinal stenosis.
