The mean platelet volume (MPV), which is considered as an indirect indicator of platelet function, may be increased as an inflammatory marker in Graves' disease. In our study, we evaluated MPV and NLR (neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio) values before and after treatment in patients with Graves' disease and toxic nodular goiter. The aim of this study is to prove that the autoimmune, chronic inflammatory pathogenesis of Graves' disease can be demonstrated by evaluating the whole blood count parameters Murat Alay, Gülçin Miyase Sönmez, Saliha YILDIZ.
